Highest Praise Church was founded in 1999 by Pastors Sherwood & Kim Lancaster. Starting at just 18 members, the church continues to grow and expand.

We believe a church should meet you right where you are and lead you to where God wants you to be! It is a place where you encounter the presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit in worship, and experiencing life-changing, challenging, and relatable messages from the Bible.

You will find salvation and freedom from cycles, addictions, and all that holds you back through Christ Jesus. SHERWOOD & KIM LANCASTER

Senior Pastors

Pastors Sherwood & Kim Lancaster founded Highest Praise Ministries in 1999 with 18 members and a heart to see the lost saved and to establish an effective ministry for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Lancaster continues to lead the Body of Christ to a new level, while still reaching out to the lost. He is known for his uncompromising preaching of the Word of God and for his love of God’s people.

Pastor Sherwood and his wife Kim have two children and live in the Shallotte area where Highest Praise began.

JORDAN & CHELSEA LANCASTER

Executive Pastors

Jordan and Chelsea have a deep passion for God and a desire to further the Kingdom. Jordan serves as Executive Pastor, oversees our volunteers, Next Step Class, and pastors our young adults. Jordan is also part of our Weekend Services teaching team. Pastor Jordans' passion to see people come to know Jesus makes a vital piece of our Ministry.
